Figure of eight walk with almost no road walking through fields and woods. Harrocks Wood is a designated Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI) and Whippendell Woods is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its variety of woodland habitats.
Lunch will be at The Coach and Horses PH, The Green, Croxley Green WD3 3HX. This pub has a garden if the weather is good but is not so big inside so booking a table is recommended so please let the walk leader know by Sunday 15th June if possible.
The Baldwins Lane Skate Park from where this walk starts is approximately a 15 minute walk from Croxley Metropolitan Line Station.
Meet at Baldwins Lane Skate Park, Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green. From The Green turning into Baldwins Lane almost immediately pass Dugdales and Grove Crescent on your left. Immediately is the turning on the right for the Skate Park. It is set back from the road next to the shopping parade. (It is between The Green and the shops.)
