Overview

The walk starts in Beddau and will take us up to the ancient hill fort of Coedcaerau bach and on to Rhiwsaeson. We will turn north and pass through Llantwit Fadre and cross the coal tip of Cwm Colliery, featured in a Iolo Williams wildlife TV programme. Many of the colliery buildings can still be seen. We will return via Llantrisant Common.
