We are the Telford & East Shropshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk is along lanes and paths, passing Daniel’s Mill, and then on through fields and meadows. The walk is leisurely with a steady hill walk back to the car park after lunch.
The lunch stop will be at the Severn Valley Railway, light refreshments can be bought here ie sausage rolls, sandwiches, cakes etc. As the selection is a bit limited it would be fine to bring your own lunch and enjoy sitting at the pretty station with refreshments from the Railwayman’s Arms.
It would be helpful if we could have the number of people likely to attend as the parking is a bit limited
This is a Short & Social walk - a gentle walk at a leisurely pace. Bring a snack & drink for break / lunch.
Good shoes or summer boots are recommended. Although still summer / early autumn please dress for the weather expected on the day.
