Setting off from Scout Hut we’ll head across open moorland before a short steep climb up Cuckoo Rock and Combshead Tor before heading back downhill to cross a brook and head across more open moorland towards Eylesbarrow Tin Mine and Higher Hartor Tor. We’ll then walk through Drizzle Combe and pass by Ditsworthy Warren House before skirting round Gutter Tor to get back to the car park.
With the remains of old tin works, warrening activity and ancient monuments there’s plenty of history to be seen. And great views in good weather.
Wet underfoot in a couple of places after rain and some ups and downs with a steep climb up Cuckoo Rock.
