We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is the annual 11 Tors Challenge which raises funds towards Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Tavistock.
The route involves 11 tors and 11 miles (probably a bit more) and starts at Princetown. Fairly long walk with some ascents, but overall a moderate walk mostly on tracks and paths. After recent rain there will be mud or wetness underfoot in some places.
As usual you’ll need to bring something for our morning coffee break and something for our lunch break. Dogs on leads.
