This is a pleasant evening walk around the Dunnington area. We will leave the village and walk through farmland along fairly decent paths. We then head into Hagg Wood which could be muddy if it has rained, and return to Dunnington via paths across fields. This walk is fairly flat and easy going.
🅿️ On-street parking in the centre of Dunnington, please be considerate of local residents – meet outside the Cross Keys
🚌 Buses from York city centre - First 10 from Rougier Street (17:33) or East Yorkshire X45 from Stonebow (18:05). Return buses on First 10L (21:06 and 22:08)
🐶 Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times
🍺 After the walk, we will head to the Cross Keys for refreshments
Midlife Hikers is part of the Ramblers and our walks are led by volunteers. Non-members are welcome to try us out for free for up to 3 walks but then we ask you to join the Ramblers
