Overview

Join us for our first evening walk of the summer! This is a gentle walk through parts of the University campus and the surrounding farmland. The walk is largely on tracks and quiet country lanes, and is mostly flat.

🅿️ Heslington sports field, The Outgang, Heslington, YO10 5EW

🚌 Buses U1 and U2 run from the station and city centre to Heslington Hall (about a 5 minute walk to the meeting point)

🍺 After the walk, we have the option to go to one of the pubs in Heslington village for drinks and food

🐶 Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times

Midlife Hikers is a Ramblers group for people in their 40s and 50s, and our walks are led by volunteers. Non-members are welcome to try us out for free for up to 3 walks but then we ask you to join the Ramblers.
