Overview

We start off walking from Welburn out into the Howardian Hills on a lovely circular route with several small ascents, but nothing too strenuous. We will enjoy woodland walking and great views. We stop for lunch about 4 miles in, only one bench to fight over but plenty of grass to sit on. We see the Temple of the Four Winds and the Pyramid Monument in the Castle Howard estate.
