Note earlier start!! A treat for you all with a rarely walked figure of eight trip encompassing many of the highlights that this wonderful part of the world has to offer.
Starting at Edale car park, we ascend Mam Tor and walk the full length of the great ridge before dropping into Hope from Lose Hill. From there we dodge the mud to get to Castleton and then take the track over Hollins Cross and back to the start point.
Good weather could mean wonderful views and we finish we a well deserved pint of Ale in one of Edales two pubs.
Toilets at the start, in Hope and Castleton. Car park costs £6, please car share.
Note that the start point is Edale public car park, and not the massively congested village. Meet by the toilet block. Car park is £6 for all day. Pay by phone is available
