Linear to Sevenoaks Station led by David C (Mobile No: 07747 187036) over undulating terrain via Pootings, Toy’s Hill, Ide Hill, Goathurst Common, Whitley Forest and Millbank Wood. Lunch stop at Ide Hill after 5½ miles at ‘The Cock Inn’ or picnic on the green. Drop-out point: Taxi from Ide Hill. Check trains the day before. Buy two single tickets. For those with a Zone 1-6 Travelcard – Out: Zone 6 (Coulsdon South) to Edenbridge. Return: Single from Sevenoaks to Knockholt.
Edenbridge Station (train from Victoria at 09:35 (Portsmouth Harbour service), calling at Clapham Junction at 09:42 and East Croydon at 09:53 and arriving Redhill at 10:04.where change for the 10:21 Tonbridge service which arrives Edenbridge at 10:36).
