Overview

A moderate-paced linear walk to Biggleswade Station led by Jane R (Mobile No: 07906 987503 (Texts preferred) over mostly level terrain, a mix of pleasant broad grassy tracks along field edges and woodland trails. In the morning following the Greensand Ridge Walk via the attractive village of Northill to the lunch stop at Old Warden: ‘The Hare and Hounds’ pub or bring a picnic. Then via Warden Warren woods, passing Landmark Trust properties on the Shuttleworth Estate to Biggleswade. The morning section of the walk is 8 miles and the afternoon 4 miles. Map: E208, L153.
