Overview

Linear to Windsor & Eton Riverside Station led by Pam H (Mobile No: 07777 698070). An attractive linear walk from Sunningdale through Cowthorn Park and Windsor Great Park, passing through Valley Gardens to see the display of azaleas and rhododendrons. After lunch the walk enters Windsor Deer Park and finishes with the Long Walk from the Copper Horse statue to the gates of Windsor Castle and then through the town. Lunch stop at the Saville Gardens Restaurant but please bring own picnic. Mainly level ground but some short climbs through the Gardens. Joint walk with Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster and Hammersmith, Fulham & Wandsworth Groups. Map: E160, L175.
