Overview

Please contact our friendly experienced walks leader if you require any further advice or information about the walk.

Ettington, Fulready and Halford

8.5 miles long, 600 feet ascent.

A relatively easy walk, going across pretty countryside to Fulready, Halford and back to Ettington.  There is likely to be a bit of mud, but much of the walk is on hard firm paths and going across country lanes. The walk is mainly flat , with one long gentle slope towards the end of the walk.

There are only two stiles.

Lunch will be at the church in Halford.

I look forward to seeing you there.

If you have any questions, drop me a line.

Parking: we will park on Halford Road in Ettington. Please car share if you can! If space is tight, there should be room to park on Old Warwick road, opposite Halford Road (the other side of Banbury Road). There are also spaces on the main road through the village. Basic Directions: Leave Birmingham on the M42 going towards Solihull and Coventry. Then merge onto the M40 signposted for London, Warwick and Stratford. Leave the M40 at junction 15, taking the A429 towards Cirencester. Stay on the A429 all the way past Wellesbourne, until you reach an island with Ettington on the signpost, a left turn. Turn left on to the Banbury Road, and Halford Road is on the right by the church.
