Overview

Meet at the War Memorial in front of the Colchester Castle on the High Street. Park at the Britannia Car Park at St Botolph’s roundabout (costs £1.10 after 6 pm) or find a space to park on East Hill.

We will walk through the Castle Park, the Dutch quarters and along the river Colne, and return through the town where we can stop for a drink at the Castle Inn.
