We are the Colchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Before the Colchester ramblers summer barbecue there will be a short circular walk from the car park at Barn Plants, Turkey Cock Lane, Stanway. The walk will go down and around the Colne river valley returning via Fordham Heath back for the BBQ at about 12:00. Please bring refreshments for a halfway break.
Kevan's garden is an accessible from the car park without walking down the road. Signs will be strategically placed.
Please contact Kevan on 07557 770712 if you would like to join the barbecue. Please provide own salads/veg and drinks.
Note there will be a very friendly golden retriever loose in the garden at the event.
The BBQ will be cancelled if the weather is poor, but the walk can still take place .
A separate disposable BBQ will be provided for any vegetarian.
