Overview

Walking through the beautiful and historic Ercall Wood, Limekiln Wood and surrounds. The woodlands are a designated area of scientific interest and so are full of flora, fauna and interesting geology.  The ramble is along a mix of clearly marked and defined pathways but which are often uneven, with some steep inclines and descents - so poles are strongly recommended. The route can be altered & shortened to take into account prevailing weather conditions.
