This popular circular walk involves experiencing one of the best areas of scenery our group has to offer. Fridaythorpe is one of the highest villages in The Yorkshire Wolds. From the village we descend to West Dale before joining the Yorkshire Wolds Way on a steady uphill to Gill's Farm. There is a short stretch, walking along a minor road before we take a footpath towards Pluckham Farm.Taking a short walk on the grass verge alongside the A166.This is soon over as we take a footpath to Wold House Farm with the statue of the Foreman. There follows an elevated section of the walk along Huggate Wold and back to our starting point at Fridaythorpe.
🥾 Please note, there is one steep ascent on the walk. Also the main road, A166, to cross carefully.
