We are the East Yorkshire & Derwent Area Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a hilly walk with some great views. Starting from Little wold lane. Here we proceed up the hill along the wolds way. After half mile we turn off and go through the woods towards the quarry entrance. We then proceed up the hill along the wolds way. At Comber Dale we go down hill and continue then with a gradual climb past Diamond cottage and then towards High Hunsley. Walking via field edges we then descend into East Dale. We now work our way back to the wolds way a short climb up and then back down towards Little wold and Little wold lane.
This is a hilly walk but most are easy gradients but we have one small steep downhill section. Overall the climb will be about 900 feet.
You will need good boots and walking sticks if you need them. Generally conditions are firm but it can be muddy if we have had rain.
Car parking is available along Little wold lane. However please note this is a residential area so please park responsibly and car share when convenient.
