We are the East Yorkshire & Derwent Area Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This enjoyable memorable walk starts from Sancton Village Hall.
Starting with a very slight incline at Gravel Pit Lane and Dale Road Track we join a short stretch of The Yorkshire Wolds Way.It is here we walk along approx 600 yards of quiet road before passing Hessleskew Gare.
We pass by a collection of wind turbines along the path before turning at the woods and make an easy sharp descent to Dale Road Track .It is from here we return back to Sancton.
The nearby car park next to the nursery holds a limited number of vehicles, otherwise considerate parking in the surrounding roads off the main road through Sancton.
Dogs are welcome on short leads please.
Considered a dry walk and no cattle in fields
New people are always welcome to join the group for a few walks before becoming members. Just turn up, but please make yourself known to the walk leader before we start.
