We are the East Yorkshire & Derwent Area Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This will be our first walk in 2026 and will be a good start to our new walking year.
We begin at The Pipe and Glass restaurant car park, South Dalton.
The owners have once more kindly let us use the car park free of charge.
Walking through the Dalton Estate, we head to Kiplingcotes and Money Pot Hill Farm.
Arriving at Holme Wold, we head to Holme Wold House and Town End Farm.
From here, we head back to South Dalton
🥾 This walk is mostly flat, but hilly in parts.
🐕 Dogs on short leads, please.
🚘 Ample parking.

I recently completed a reconnaissance of this walk and encountered no issues. However, it’s important to have the right equipment. It was very cold, so good protective clothing and sturdy walking shoes or boots .
