Overview

via Lapstone Meadows, Stoke Park Farm nature reserve and Gore Copse. Picnic lunch.

The walk will take us through Knowle Hill Park towards Lapstone Meadows and skirting the outskirts of Horton Heath proceed towards Fair Oak centre. Across the playing field then soon arriving alongside Stoke Park Wood. A bridleway leads to Stoke Park Farm now being championed as a Nature Reserve.

A footpath across a meadow and then an enclosed path leads us along the edge of Upper Barn Copse and out into a field still with woods bordering. A bridleway recently improved with surface chippings winds through the countryside to join a footpath which we use to access Mortimers Lane. A short walk and a new path is reached through Gore Copse. On the last leg access to Knowle Hill will suprise us with a lovely view, where we will be able to view where our walk took us
