This beautiful walk the takes us across three heaths (Albury, Farley and Blackheath) and through two forests (Winterfold & Hurtwoord) with some open country and fine views. In between you, you visit horse-riding country and quite lovely open country with unexpected turns, country houses and great views. Please bring a picnic, although we will be stopping for lunch in Peaslake where food and drink can be bought from the village shop and there is pub (the Hurtwood) for a drink. This walk has been brought forward from April, the original published date.
Most paths are sandy, although there may be some damp patches in the woods. The starting point is Farley Glade CP (Hurtwood Control no 15), about 600m south west of the village of Farley Green. (This is not to be confused with Hurtwood CP no 8, Roman Temple, further down the road.)
