A circuit of the woods that surround the village of Fernhurst, just south of Haslemere. Good paths except after heavy rain when there could be lots of mud! We visit Furnace Pond, Linchmere and Kingsley Green. There are 6 stiles and some ascents & a steep descent. Walking through woods and across fields. A bit of road walking on quiet lanes.
Bring picnic. Optional pub/cafe at the end of the walk.
Free CP at Fernhurst Recreational Ground. South from Guildford on A3 to Milford, then A286 to Fernhurst. Turn left to Old Glebe road. Turn left into car park just beyond Red Lion pub. If the car park is full, park around the Green.
