Overview

From the start in Friday Street, we walk along by a stream, through the woods and upto Leith Hill tower where we will have a coffee stop. The walk then follows the woods down to Holmbury St Mary. Then onto the church in Abinger Common where we will have lunch. After lunch we take a roundabout route back to Friday Street.

Bring your own coffee and picnic lunch. There is a place to buy hot drinks at Leith Hill Tower. Lunch will be by the church in Abinger. There is a pub in Abinger where you can get a drink. Unfortunately there will not be time to have food at the pub.

Meet at the public car park by Friday Street. From Guildford take the A25 towards Dorking. Just before the Wotton Hatch pub turn left down Hollow Lane, then after 1 km turn left down Friday Street and the car park is on the right after about 1/2 km.
