Overview

Varied walk through some of the best of the Surrey Hills. Lots of trees, nice views and lovely countryside. Walking from Farely Heath through Blackheath and then upto St Marthas for a coffee stop. Walking at the foot of the North Downs we walk to Shere for our lunch stop. Then back via Shere Heath and Little London to Farely Heath.

Our coffee stop will be at St Marthas church, where there will be cake and tea available. This will be provided by the Guildford Health Walks group as part of a fund raising event. Refreshments will be available for a donation to GHW, so please bring adequate loose change.

Lunch will be at Shere where drinks and public toilets are available. Bring a picnic lunch.

We will meet at the Hurtwood Control carpark number 8, which is the big carpark next to the Roman Temple on Farley Heath road. Currently the front part of the carpark is full of cut logs, but there is still plenty of room in the rest of the carpark. (Don't confuse with the much smaller number 15 carpark 500meters before on the same road.)
