Overview

This is a figure-of-eight walk around the village of Preston, Herts. The morning walk is 4.5miles and the afternoon 5.5 miles both passing through the village so it is possible to finish after 4.5 miles.The walk follows well-defined footpaths over open and rolling Hertfordshire countryside with a few short stretches of lane walking and through some woods. The Red Lion in Preston is a lovely community-owned pub with a large garden at the end.
