Overview

This is a walk along pleasant and quiet country lanes and footpaths to visit Wellow Church and the grave of Florence Nightingale who lived at nearby Embley Park. We will be weaving our way around farmland  and woods, gently undulating with one or two narrow footpaths where we go alongside fields.

Park in Wellow Village Hall Car park. From junction 2 on the M27, take the turning signposted to Salisbury on the A36. Stay on the A36 to West Wellow and turn right at the roundabout onto Lower Common Road. The Village Hall is about half a mile along on the right.
