A walk from Hilsea via the Hilsea Lines fortifications built ito protect Portsea Island and on to circle the Farlington Marshes at an ideal time to see lots of bird species. This is a relatively flat walk. You might ask where does the madness come from, well there is the opportunity for the brave or adventurous to try out the open air Hilsea Lido unheated swimming poll after or before the walk which is due to re-open on the 2nd May.
No booking required for the walk.
If you want to have a swim you will probably need to book in advance on-line using the Hilsea Lido App. Cost is £8 for a swim and £12 if you want to add a sauna with some concessions available.
Optional lunch stop at the cafe at the end of the walk.
