We are the South Birmingham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We park at the Forge Mill visitor centre which will be open, also for toilets. We walk towards Swan Pool, take a footbridge over the motorway, to Dartmouth Park, up to the raised reservoir. Depending on the weather, there should be a festive fair and toilets. Coffee break at the Sandwell Farm visitor centre, which will also be open. We proceed through Priory Woods, past pools, and a variety of heath land and woodland. There should be a good variety of water birds on the pools and the reservoir. Paths are good.
Forge Mill Farm car park, Forge Lane, West Bromwich B71 3SZ. Note: This is where Park Lane becomes Forge Lane. At the moment you have to pay with coins, £1.20 for 3 hours, £1.60 for 4 hours, blue badge free.
