Overview

This is a replacement for the advertised Enville walk

as that proved to be impassable on the recce last

 week.

This is an old walk that I haven't recced recently

but Kinver is usually well drained so fingers crossed

it'll be clear though no doubt muddy in places.

I do notice on the OS maps app that there are

 user feedback comments which indicate

problematic areas on the route are shown as passable.

KINVER:

So Starting at the Rock Houses car park, Compton Road

ready to set off at 10:00AM.

The walk starts with a little road walking through

Kinver till we veer off on a path leading to the

Stewponey Wharf on the canal. We then follow

the canal for a couple of miles leaving to head

to The Million Wood and onto Enville Hall and

finally back to the start point.

Depending how muddy it is I may avoid some

field walking early on and get onto the canal

a little earlier which will mean a lot of canal

walking but we will be on good paths.
