Starting at Fox House the walk heads to Longshaw Visitor Centre before continuing through the estate to the top of Padley Gorge. From here we head around the south and west sides of Laurence Field to Surprise View then descend gradually to Greenwood Farm. The walk continues on tracks to reach the River Derwent before following the river to Leadmill Bridge and then field paths, tracks and quiet roads to finish in the centre of Hathersage.
