Overview

This is a walk of two parts. In the morning a route from Furnace with no stiles but a fair amount of ascent & descent with good views.  An eighteenth century charcoal furnace can be seen at the start which gives the village its name. In the afternoon by car to the Ynyslas beach car park  (£4 fee) where there is a walk through Dunes, Slacks & a Beach. It is possible to just do one of the walks please talk to leader.

Meeting point for car sharing in Bow Street is at 0930. Walk from furnace which is 3.5 miles starts at 1000.  Ynyslas walk is 2 miles.PLEASE CONTACT LEADER TO BOOK A PLACE.
