Overview

A long day out to visit a garden in Bedfordshire.  At a moderate pace, a flatish walk along the river, and through villages and farmland.  Early picnic lunch.  We will arrive at the Manor House in Stevington early afternoon, and be able to see climbing clematis & roses, colourful borders and a wild flower garden.  Entry £9.00. Homemade teas available at the garden.  After visiting the garden, we will walk a further 2 miles to catch the bus from Oakley back to Bedford.  NOTE – finishing time of walk is the time we will arrive back in Bedford to catch the train home.  Use toilet on the train.  There is a toilet at lunch time.

Lunch: Early short picnic lunch (where it is possible to buy hot and cold drinks).
