An undulating farm and woodland walk with views to Great Comp Garden. If it's been wet expect some mud and standing water. The entrance to the garden is reached by 15 minutes walking along a quiet lane. The garden is seven acres, with woodland walks, ornamental grasses and exotic perennials. Garden entry £9.50; Gardeners' World 2-for-1 accepted and RHS members go free.
Lunch: Picnic in the car park where there is no cover, or homemade soup, sandwiches and cakes in the garden café.
