This walk has been rerouted to avoid flooding, but expect some waterlogged sections.
A flat walk through parks, and along the Wey Navigation to Ripley for lunch before entering Dunsborough Park for the tulip festival. There are a couple of stiles.
The park is a 100 acre estate comprising a series of historical gardens bought to life through vistas and garden architecture. It is planted every year with 20,000 Dutch tulips. Booking online is essential; entry fee is £9.00, please visit the website below to book. This is a private garden, open today as part of the charitable National Garden Scheme.
We resume our walk along The Wey Navigation to West Byfleet.
Lunch: at Ripley, or Dunsborough Park, either a picnic on the green, or in a pub or tea shop. There is tea and cake at the garden, and our stop is for lunch and the garden combined.
No toilets before the garden.
