From Clough Bank we go through Tinkers Clough, then take the canal towpath to Higher Hurdsfield and field paths/tracks to Swanscoe farm, past Endon Hall and under White Nancy before descending via Hurst Lane to the canal and returning along the towpath to the car park.
An easy walk but with a couple of short steepish ascents/descents, steps and some stiles, including a couple of awkward ones.
Dogs must be on short leads in fields (sheep or cattle may be present), and fully under owner's control at all times.
Bring drink and snack for a coffee stop.

Middlewood Way Car Park, Clough Bank, Bollington - Free parking If the car park is full, there is on-street parking on Clough Bank and neighbouring streets. Public Transport: D&G No. 10 bus from Macclesfield bus station (depart 9:10), get off just past Bollington Tesco; Grimshaw Lane is opposite Tesco, it's a 2-3 minute walk to Clough Bank. Return buses leave at half-hourly intervals until about 6pm.
