Overview

Around Kerridge Vale: from Adlington Road car park we cross the recreation ground to join the canal towpath at Clarence Mill, continue along the canal to Jennys Farm then take field paths to Swanscoe Farm and tracks/paths to Redway and below White Nancy before descending to Hurst Lane and back across the recreation ground to the car park.
An easy walk, but with one steep descent and a couple of tricky stiles. There are likely to be sheep and/or cattle in some of the fields we cross - dogs to be on short leads in fields, please, and under control at all times.
Bring drinks & snack for a coffee break.
Toilets available in car park at start and end of walk.
