Overview

The Trail rises to over 400 metres (1,300 ft) on Hergest Ridge with dramatic 360 degrees views. On a clear day Pen y Fan can be seen to the south, the Malverns to the east and the hills of Shropshire to the north. From there descending to the market town of Kington. On leaving Kington the Trail passes over Bradnor Hill and Herrock Hill, above twisting, deep valleys. On Rushock Hill, the Trail meets up with Offa’s Dyke itself which continues along Burfa Bank before reaching Evenjobb
