Overview

Please note the date of this walk has moved from 26th April.

This is the harder of two walks offered this week.

This is a strenuous circular walk mostly on tracks or paths but with some steep climbs. Leaving Melrose, we will climb Goat's Brae before dropping down into the outskirts of Earlston. There we cross the Leader and head to Black Hill. If weather conditions allow, we will have lunch on the top of Black Hill before dropping down into Redpath and on to Leaderfoot. We will follow grass tracks and the BAW back to the start point in Melrose.
