The walk starts heading uphill through Eggerslack Wood to Hampsfell hospice and Cairn. Fabulous 360 degree panoramic views await at the top with Lake District Fells to the north and Morecambe Bay to the south. We head down from the fell to Cartmel weather and time depending we may get chance to explore Cartmel, purchase an ice cream or have a quick drink. We head out of Cartmel towards Lane Park before looping back to Grange-over-Sands via spring bank, Eden mount and further spectacular views of Morecambe Bay.
Meet on Windermere Rd Car Park on the B5271. The car park is open and chargeable it is undergoing renovations.
