Overview

A linear walk from Gravesend to Higham with great views of the Thames Estuary and marshes, passing Cliffe Fort and Cliffe village, then through orchards and farmland to Higham Church, where Dickens' daughter got married, then to Higham station.  Some paths will be muddy.  The only toilets are in Gravesend and Cliffe village.

Train:  Blackfriars 09.11, London Bridge 09.18, arrive Gravesend 10.17 (Rainham train).  Buy return ticket to Higham.  Freedom pass holders need a ticket from Dartford.  Meet outside the main entrance to the station next to Platform 2.
