Leave car park, cross road and take footpath down through Dallows Wood. After leaving wood turn left on path down to Mill Pool. Climb steps to top of dam, turn right and then left onto poolside path to bridge. Turn right ,passing Gawtons Stone ( Look out for the hermit) and carry on up to Knypersley Park. Turn left on Lodge Barn road and take path on right down through fields back to poolside path at the Wardens Tower. Turn right and follow path round right side of the Serpentine Pool to the steps taking you back to the Car Park.
