We are the Rochdale Ramblers. The Rochdale Group was established in October 1994 and are part of the Manchester and High Peak Area of the Ramblers Association. We welcome new and potential members to join our walks.

We are walking from Whitaker Park in Rawtenstall to Ewood Bridge via the Halo panopticon. Two sections of the walk are on the King's Highway which was an ancient pack horse route from Haslingden to Clitheroe. There is a steep ascent alongside the ski slope at the start of the walk and parts will be muddy and have uneven ground.
Please note that dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed on our walks.
Meet in the top car park of Whitaker Park, Haslingden Old Road, Rawtenstall. Please note this is the car park opposite the ski slope .
