Overview

The walk takes us from Runcorn to Walton Hall Gardens following park and woodland paths, before following the Bridgewater Canal towpath. We return along the towpath past Daresbury Laboratories before crossing fields to reach the Runcorn spur of the canal and then follow urban paths back to the car park. Good paths throughout, no stiles. There may be some mud in places if there has been rain. There are long sections of canal towpath. Under 500ft of ascent. Walk will be at a pace to suit the group. 420 ft asc. Tel 07843177858. Assistance dogs only. Please book for this walk in the Walks Programme. Maximum bookings 20. Full Day.
