This is a walk along dales and up hill's from Hartington. Starting with Biggin Dale we will go along the River Dove through Milldale and up Hall Dale before returning to Hartington via Alstonfield and Narrowdale. Shining Tor, Narrowdale Hill and Wolfscote Hill are optional peaks which on a clear day can provide great views. This white peak walk is sometimes along lovely level dales but has lots of ups and downs and while we mainly use good well used paths some will be uneven and potentially slippery in wet weather.
This is a car ramble. We will meet to share cars at Knowle Lane bus stop(opposite Millhouses Lane)and plan to leave for Hartington at 9.15am
81,82 and 88 buses leave Arundel Gate at 8.31, 8.33 and 8.42 respectively. From the Interchange the 218 leaves at 8.30 and the 272 at 8.46
