Overview

A lovely circular walk, with some very pleasing views, from Hartshorne.  The route passes through newly planted and old established woods with quirky names including Several Wood, Sharp’s Bottom and Poker’s Ley, on our way to Calke Outdoors for our first stop.

Leaving our stop we go through Ticknall, Stantons Wood and Lamont Wood to reach Foremark Reservoir for lunch.

We finish by following the National Forest Way back to Hartshorne.
