Overview

A route through some of the hills and woods to the south of Haslemere, taking in viewpoints at Marley Common and at Temple of the Winds. Last part of route crosses Black Down where the heather may still be in flower. Total ascent about 470m. Pub stops after lunch and at end of walk. Please bring a packed lunch.

Travel: Take the 10:30 from London Waterloo (10:39 Clapham Junction), arr. Haslemere 11:29.
