Moderate to brisk paced walk, mainly on National Trust land with a mixture of woodland and heathland.
Generally hilly all day, but with one longer climb in the afternoon to the "Temple of the Winds" on Black Down; the highest point in the South Downs National Park (worth the climb for spectacular views!).
(Saturday Walkers Club walk #22)
Lunch: Picnic at Fernhurst (There is also a pub and a cafe but preferably just use for drinks)
Train: Waterloo 9:30; Arr 10:20 (Portsmouth Harbour train)
(Pass holders: ask guard to let you through ticket barrier early)
Please note: many factors can affect how long a walk takes and the finish time given is an estimate only.
