Starting at the Crown Inn in Heather, this varied, National Forest, walk includes woodland, farmland, lakes and a brief visit to Sence Valley Country Park. Six stiles, one short uphill section, otherwise pretty easy walking. Perfect walk for anyone considering trying us out for the first time. Five miles.
No toilets or formal refreshment on offer until we get back to the Crown at the end. Parking to be arranged at the Crown but plenty of overflow parking available on nearby Mill Lane, Heather
