We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting in the car park at Hilliers Garden Centre this is a circular walk connecting four local villages making the most of the extensive network of woodland paths that link them. We head north to Oare before cutting back through Hermitage and heading south to Cold Ash. We head west through Cold Ash to Ashmore Green before turning north to pass through Curridge and back to the start. The going underfoot is generally good with a couple of woodland sections that could be wet after rain. There are two short unpaved road sections, a few gates and three stiles otherwise the walking is easy going and mainly flat.
Please bring sufficient food and drink for the day but note that there are limited natural opportunities for coffee and lunch stops. Some flexibility on time or location may therefore be required depending on the progress of the group.

The Garden Centre is in Priors Court Road Hermitage opposite the entrance to Denison Barracks. As you enter the car park turn left and park along the fence facing the road.
